I made a nice sign for outside my office door. The one that had been there read "LAW CLERK DEPT." It was written in bold letters with blue magic marker. My new sign was printed from Microsoft Word and kicks the old sign's ass. I still doubt that anyone will read the sign prior to asking me some annoying question under the assumption that I am the librarian.
Last night, Elizabeth and I went to the Decatur for some drinking and knitting observation. It was a fun time. We had stimulating conversations on topics of concern without feeling the need to censor ourselves in order to avoid offending the others. Oh, it felt good to laugh again.
A funny law school-mate of mine used to say "It feels good to laugh again" in a funny voice that always made me laugh. She also used to make funny jokes by saying "If by X you mean Y, then yes..."
It is very snowy in Newport County. SNOW!!! It would be a nice day for soup, but I brought my lunch and it doesn't include soup.
