So I'm 30 now, that's weird.
I don't feel any different. I guess I'm deciding age is just a number. Someone said it should be a celebratory thing because I lived to see 30, and I strongly agree with that.
My mom is home now and I'm staying with her to help take care of her. She doesn't really need my help right now, but she will in the future, and in the meantime it's nice to spend time together. I miss being home and Pat and the cats though. I went and saw the cats at lunch. I was ecstatic to see them and they were all "Oh yes, you. The other human one." Lol.
We have like 80 cakes and pies here, it's a sugar coma waiting to happen. At work they brought in an additional 80 cakes and brownies and cookies, so I've fully had my dessert quotient for the year now.
Apparently work is doing a luau type thing for the Christmas party this year. O-kay.
Anyway, that's all for me - things are what they are. I'm still sad, but it's easier now that mom's home.
