I'm an Emo Kid!

So NoMAAM decided to screw around a little bit in Molten Core this week and let a few classes "out of the box" for fun. We had a feral druid, a DPSing paladin and the usual shadow priests. The results were quite fun.

DPS:

#1 - Our Perdition/Core Tooth rogue
#2 - Our 2nd place rogue
#3 - Me (Demonology Warlock)
#4 - Our 3rd place rogue
#5 - Our Grand Marshall (rank 14) DPS Paladin

The dmg difference over most of molten core was I was 5% behind our top rogue (~10k dmg by Magmadar) and our DPS Paladin was behind me by only 500-1000 dmg. Now, a Warlock being high isn't surprising, especially if you have a shadow priest boosting the dmg numbers. However, I was pretty shocked to find out that Judeuh (GM Paladin) was out DPSing most of our mages and Hunters by a wide margin. In fact, it was so bad, our guild master yelled at him for pulling aggro off the tank for a good deal of the trash mobs.

You know, it really makes me think that Paladins are getting a bump deal sitting back and healing the whole time. Granted, this guy is the best of the DPS paladins on the server, but its given me a pretty clear case that a Paladin can put out significant and consistent DPS if properly geared and used.

If you're curious, our best dps warrior has hand of ragnaros and we have only 1-2 BWL weapons. I'm sure Thunderfury in the hands of a rogue would do more damage hands down.

Now in the obligitory "what about you" section, how is the horde fairing with DPS Shaman? Do Elemental/Enhancement Shaman put out decent damage? What do you think about these results? We've given our 2nd and 3rd Eyes of Sulfuras to Paladins - now I'm thinking we might actually seen decent DPS from that choice.
