I figured since I HADN'T posted in a few days, I may as well make this one SOMEwhat special. I decided to post a video I put up on Youtube.com Now while this may not be a regular occurance I am going to force myself to put up more videos if and when I feel like taking them and editing them isn't a painfully fuckin annoying process.
For everyone's information, that was taken yesterday on my way to the beach. It was around 5ish, and it had just finished raining, hence why it's not so bright and sunny and why there was no one around. Just like I likes it. Pay special attention to the STOP sign right before I get to the coast, notice how I zoom by it? I drive like a Dominican. I stayed at the beach for an hour and a half, during which I enjoyed a dip in the water, and got freaked out at the prospects of sharks hiding behind the waves.
Victor's birthday came and went, there was much wine, and beer, and rum, and lil pills, which Alex is too old to take. All in all it was good, I bowed out early on account of 4/20 taking it's toll on me, plus work and whatnot. I made it home fine, just in time to watch a lil' tv and crash. Ever since I woke on Saturday tho, I've been feeling out of it.
A number of people have informed me of this year's BluesFest lineup. I'm going to see if I can get my younger brother backstage for Kanye West, figured since I got him into Talib, he should definately see Kanye West as well. I'm excited for a show that's coming up in May here. Kid Capri, DJ CLUE?, Biz Markie; not a bad line-up. Surprising too since hip-hop doesn't have a big following here, it's played sporadically at some clubs, but this is the first time I've heard of a show this size being organized. I'm stoked.
