Reality has sunk in
So, I'm gone this weekend to see the Reds play. This is fantastic. I love my team and I hate that I only make like 2 games a season. BUT...we just completed a trade. Austin Kearns and Felipe Lopez are no longer on the team. I know my f-list is not full of baseball fans, so this is one of those entries you can ignore, ok? Anyway... FUCKING HELL. I HATE this. I KNOW trading is part of the sport and we've been so kickass this year and might really have a shot, but THIS SUCKS. Both Austin and Felipe came up through the Bats, so I got to watch them both play down here. Austin Kearns is on my wall in 2 places and Felipe would be. AND Felipe was totally the nickname guy. Just...man, AUGH. It wasn't bad enough that Sean Casey was traded the day my grandmother died, to the PIRATES no less! Worst day of my life, I swear. Oh, sports are painful.
