I'm back! Sorry about the delay, but whew! its been a busy couple of weeks! Anyway, here is chapter 7, it's kindof short but I wanted to get something out there.

Disclaimer: I don't own SVU or JAG. No witty comments today...I just don't own them.

AN: Ok, so after I got back from vacation last week: (day 1) I packed and moved back to school, (day 2) started classes, and (day 3) fell down the stairs and sprained my ankle. So its been a busy couple of weeks but now things are starting to slow down and I should be able to get back to the important things- like writing. heh. So, I am very sorry once again for the delay, but life happens.

Chapter Recap: When we last saw our intrepid heros: Olivia and Elliot had gone to a new crime scene that had turned out to be a copy cat and both got shot when they confronted the suspect. Mac has been spending more and more time with Alex and Olivia and Harm is starting to worry and Fin had just come to inform Alex that Olivia was shot in the leg and had lost lots of blood. and now on with the story...

Turf, Chapter 7

Harmon Rabb was concerned. He had barely slept last night and now he was pacing his hotel room, every possible combination of thoughts running through his over-tired head. He was in love with Sarah McKenzie; this in itself was not a revelation. Hell, how could it be? Everyone knew it. But she was over at their apartment. Now he wasn't homophobic or anything like that. But, you know, it was weird and it wasn't right, was it? He had to admit the idea of two women together was pretty hot, especially those two women, but the thought of two men together? He shuddered just thinking about it. And what about Mac, what if she… He would be crushed. Her career would be ruined. But she had had relationships with men before, lots of them. Then again, he thought as he came to a stop and cocked his head to the side, she is a marine and she always had worn her hair short.

'Stop it. Just stop it! You are driving yourself insane. There is no way Mac is gay, she doesn’t have to be a lesbian to have lesbians as friends. She… that's it I'm going over there.' As Harm finished his internal rant he gathered up his coat and shoes and made his way out into the cold morning.

He was just walking up the steps to Alex and Olivia's apartment when he saw Alex, Mac and Fin rushing out, Alex looked like she was crying.

"What's going on?" He asked as his partner approached him.

"Olivia and Elliot got shot. They are both in the hospital."

"Oh God. I'm coming with you." All of a sudden everything else didn't seem so important.

-----

Olivia Benson was bored. Well, at least she thought she was bored, but she couldn't really figure out why. She was unconscious and therefore her mind could do anything it wanted. She could go to a carnival or spend a very nice and erotic night at home with Alex or could even go fishing, but apparently that wasn't happening. For some reason her mind thought it would be fun to give her only a very badly upholstered couch in a white room with a window. Outside looked like a scene out of a Disney movie, animated trees and twittering birds, except she couldn't hear the song.

So she sat with elbows on knees, chin propped in palms and as she puffed a lock of hair out of her eyes she tried to figure out what exactly was going on, the last thing she remembered was feeling a sharp pain in her leg… 'Aww crap was I shot again? Alex is going to kill me….wait who's Alex?'
Now Olivia Benson was just confused. She knew who Alex was, of course she knew who Alex was. Alex was… damn it she knew this…

All of a sudden the view from the window changed, 'Why did it just start raining?'

It had started raining very hard and there was a rumbling that kind of sounded like thunder but it wasn't quite right, it was like the thunder was saying something. Olivia just slowly shook her head back and forth. It was official- she was going insane; she thought the thunder was trying to talk to her.

----

The doctor was rambling on in a deep voice but Alex could barely listen, her tears were falling so fast that she didn’t bother to wipe them away anymore. She finally just laid her head back on Olivia's shoulder and allowed herself to cry.
