Drabble - Dark
This 100 word drabble reflects my current feelings about Olivia. She lost a piece of herself over the last two seasons and she tried to be someone else (different hairstyles, dating men again)... But ultimately it all seemed very dark to me. Hopefully the new season will bring a change for the better.
Dark
Everyone used to tell me that a change would come over me whenever you walked into a room. They said I would light up, humming with renewed energy. Now I’m dark, foreboding, and unapproachable… My universe collapsed when you went away - inverted into itself - forming this black hole. I’m looking up from the bottom of it, looking up into nothingness, darkness. Why do I bother? It’s the same looking up as down, left or right… But I will never look back, never retrace those steps that led me here. Now when you walk into a room I no longer glow.
