Crazy ass dream last night.
I was walking through this other world and encountering situations that I had figure out, kind of like Alice and Wonderland. The only one I can remember well enough to retell was this: I was walking with some guy (don't know who he was, could have been someone in real life or not), and we were walking near one of the lakes or in a park. And we look down and there's this disembodied hand -not gross and bloody, just kind of...like its own little entity, like in the Adams Family!! And it's bouncing towards us, rolling kind of, and it points to something behind us, and we turn around, and there's a wall with images of a bunch of hands all shaped in kind of an upside-down "hang loose" sign. And it dawns on me that we've encountered the realm of Salvador Dali, and the hang-loose hands are actually in reference to his famous mustache. And I explain this to my friend, just as Salvador Dali captures him and I realize that he has taken my companion as a replacement for his long lost love (a woman, and it did not seem illogical to me at the time that he now has a man in the place of a woman...gender was a little inconstant). So my companion had to stay with him for a time until he could figure out a way to escape (not physically escape, but escape like a psychological trap). I woke up just as he was returning.
I'm impressed with myself. It wasn't me being trapped, and it wasn't a deranged serial killer. I've branched out.
