I absolutely loathe and despise Christmas, it is the absolute worst holiday ever! I can't even have a peaceful grocery shopping trip at Christmas because of that damned Salvation Army bell! I can't tolerate that sound at all; in seconds, it makes me want to punch something or kick a puppy at the bell ringer. It's made worse by the fact that the "charity" doing it is super bigoted and their whole deal is pretending to care while shoving their religion down people's throats and abusing LGBT homeless people including children. It's the kind of organization that should be shut down for being a hate group.
Then the grocery stores all have at their entrances these horrendous pine cones that stink eye wateringly of cinnamon. It's bad enough those are in the doorway. The Safeway I went to today keeps them in the produce section instead. The stink there today was so bad I had to flee the produce aisle before I could get what I needed, since I was about to puke from the stink. Bell ringing on one end of the store, cinnamon stink on the other end! That bell ringer was lucky she was taking a break when I left, of I'd have said some very rude things to her.
Oh and the Christmas music! Worst music in the history of music, worse even than country western! Every single song makes me want to stick knives in my ears and knock stuff over while screaming! And they play it over and over and over again for like, two or three months straight! I am so glad I don't work in a grocery store, I'd have a psychotic break after just five hours of all that garbage!
And the worst part: Christmas is a disease, a rot that spreads past December and into November and October. Give it a few more years and it will infect the entire year.
Certain people like to imagine there's a war on Christmas. I wish there WAS! Currently it's instead Christmas waging war against the rest of the year. There NEEDS to be a war on Christmas! We need to spray it with napalm and set it alight! We need to amputate the entire month of December!!!
To Hell with Christmas!!!
