Summary: A new king was chosen and brand new rules have been settled. Will there be a war between the preview king and the actual one? Can a hybrid and a vampire get along?

Chapter 1
“So warm...prrr...” Jun thought as a palm caressed his cheek. Gentle black eyes met red. Contrary to popular belief, not all vampires are cold. True…As any other creature, they have moments when they are angry, and at that moment, their energy escapes from their body.
“Good morning…” Sho welcomed his mate; his nose slowly descended upon the boy’s neck.
“It still hurts?” he asked while Jun yelped as the other’s fangs gazed over the mating mark. Sho finally decided to make him his last month. After being together for almost 2 years, enough time in which to make Jun behave like a normal human and not as the beast he once was, and after lots of thinking he thought that it was better for Jun to bear his mark.
“Prrr~”
Sho smirked and learned forward. “You’re greedier than I actually thought you were” he growled and kissed him softly on the mark.
“Lusciously stainless…”The vampire said in a low and seductive tone.
Flashback (a month ago)
“Is something the matter?” The feline gently asked as he stepped into the dimly lightened room, headed towards the couch and sat next to the other man and slowly bent towards his body, resting his head across the man’s chest. As on instinct, the man’s left hand descended upon his ears and the middle of the head, playing softly with the curly hair.
“That old man that came earlier…”Sho said as he took a deep breath and shifted on the coach. “He proposed I be one of the candidates for the throne…But…”He paused and closed his eyes, resting his head on the back of the sofa.
“But?” The half cat insisted and slowly sat up in the other’s lap, each foot on one side as he faced him.
“I’m not sure if it’s for the best…” Sho whispered and placed one hand of Jun’s back, pushing him more into him, and the other hand on his thigh. At the action, the hybrid leaned forward and placed his head between the man’s shoulder and head, taking in his smell.
“Follow your instinct” Jun advised him, closing his eyelids.
“That’s easy to say” Sho chuckled and kissed the top of his lover’s head.
“With you as a King…things will change to the better.” The kitten spoke confidently. “I trust you” He affirmed. The other man smirked.
”I know you do” He said and his hands started roaming over Jun’s body, one of them caressing his tail. The cat hid his almost blushing face in the vampire’s chest and muffled some incoherent words.
“Such a greedy kitten” Sakurai whispered in his ear, his mouth descending on his neck and started licking.
”Only at your t-touch” Jun moaned in delight and yelped as the other’s fangs brushed against his sensitive skin.
“I’ve waited too long” Sho spoke as he lifted the kitten’s head by his chin and placed kisses all over his face. “Can I?” He asked, as his red eyes bored into passionate black. He received no verbal answer; only a small and almost unnoticed nod.
“It will hurt…but…”Sakurai said as his fingers brushed over Jun’s neck. “I’ll be gentle…” he finished and shifted their positions so that Jun was underneath him.
Jun moaned as his Master slid (not too gently) his hand further down his body, ripping his white shirt as fingers dug into the pale skin. Although there were only superficial cuts, the trails of blood were enough to send Jun’s body into a fiery frenzy…an irresistible aphrodisiac. Sho started placing butterfly kisses all over Jun’s stomach and lowered himself even more until he was standing in front of a small bulge. He licked his lips and stared at the hybrid’s body with possessive eyes.
“S-stop l-looking…ahh” Jun moaned as he found himself completely naked and being stared like he was some kind of trophy. “Damn it…ahh”
“Impatient aren’t we?”The vampire asked as he softly kissed the tip of his lover’s member. Jun yelped as Sho began to suck him off as one of his hands simultaneously stimulated his nipples; pinching, rubbing and teasing the ultra sensitive tip.

He gasped loudly when he sensed something else in his body.
“ARGGG!! Stop!” Jun yelled when he felt like something was flowing into him. Tears leaked over his cheeks as he felt as if he couldn’t breathe anymore. The vampire finally retreated from his neck but not until he made sure he cleaned the wound by licking it. No Mark was visible yet, but one will definitely appear after Sho’s essence mixes with all the blood in the hybrid’s body.
“Itai…”Jun whispered; one of his arms had fallen over his eyes hiding all the evidence that he cried. “You r-really stand for your name…”
“Shh…It’s over…” Sho spoke gently as he took the hand covering Jun’s face and kissed tired eyes, meanwhile his right hand massaged his lover’s member reawakening the unquenched passion and reminding Jun they haven’t finished. Jun mewled at the action, recovering almost immediately, all his body heating up for the second round which he knew was coming. Or should he say cumming?
“Too hot…” he said as he closed his eyes. His breathing came out heavy and ragged but he knew he was becoming more sensitive with every touch… being Marked made him feel completely different. He liked it. Feeling different felt good.

“Uhh…Delicious” he spoke as he looked hungrily at his tired lover. “Just as good as your blood” He leaned over and shared the taste with Jun who looked as if he would fall asleep any moment now.
“You’re more d-*yawn* -disgusting than I actually t-thought” Jun gently said, his eyes slowly closing.
“Sleep…” The vampire ordered as he caressed Jun’s ears.
“Prrr…”
Sho chuckled at the sound and lifted himself up taking Jun bridal-style in his arms and heading into the bedroom.

The Mark is said to reflect the combined feelings of each other. Nevertheless…it was a beautiful Mark. It had the form of a black quarter Moon, and in the unfinished circle there was a red point that if you looked carefully you could see the shape of a shooting star. When Sho first saw the mark he thought that the red star was a representation of him and the Moon from Jun. Jun’s life was torn in silence and the Moon itself signified peace and tranquillity; the things he desired the most.
“No more pain…”Jun spoke as he changed his position and rested his head in the King’s lap as if he wished for more attention. “Just a light shadow of the past…” he purred and pushed his head slightly in his lover’s waiting hands.
“Eager as always hmm…” Sho said as he caressed his black cat ears, action that made Jun purr once again and also made his tail flicker at the act. Unlike other hybrids, Jun still couldn’t make his feline features disappear. He tried but nevertheless, his tail and ears still remained visible.
“I did this to you” The vampire said bluntly with an emotionless and cold look in his eyes.
Jun just fisted one of his hands into the soft shirt of his lover.
“Jun…” he paused.
“You don’t have to-” Jun started to say when he was interrupted.
*knock knock*
“Sir, you have a guest” The guard who was his 2nd in command announced, his strong yet cheerful voice rezoning through the secured door.
“Who is it?”The King asked.
“Kitagawa-san, Sir!” the guard responded. At the mention of the respective name Jun flinched, Sho could feel that his body temperature dropped slightly.
“I understand…tell him I’ll be there and Masaki…” he paused as he looked at the closed door.
“Yes Sir?”
“Drop the formalities…” A sigh could be heard from the King.
“…”
Sakurai sighed once again. He slowly got off the bed, arranged his clothes and with a simple wave of hand a vortex opened.
“Take care~” Jun said with a smile plastered on his petite face. Smirking at the action, the King turned his back and disappeared into the dark matter. Jun waited a few minutes and then he spoke.
“You know he left, don’t you?” The smile he had was already too childish for his age.
“… “
“Come and talk with me~” he mewled as got off the bed and stretched his sore back.
“Then…” The voice behind the door mumbled “I’m coming in!” He spoke almost enthusiastically and the door slowly opened revealing the silhouette of a man almost the King’s age.
