Don't even ask why I keep all this together, I had a sort of complicated weekend... >.<
All taken 8-10 September 2012. I recommend full views for details.
This is the south-eastern façade of the neo-manneristic palace of Ballestrem di Castellengo counts in Pławniowice, Silesia, Poland. I still hesitate between "OMG, I had had some fifteen minutes between out-of-the-car and back-to-the-car and something worked out?!?!?!" and "Grrr, a bit of sun for colours would be too much to ask, eh?" You can see more of the palace
here.
And the one below presents the POV of marigolds ^^ at the castle in Moszna, also Silesia, Poland, or a XIX century Disneyland... No, seriously, that's one of the craziest dumps of stone you've ever seen. You see, Baron Tiele-Winckler had a lot of money and plenty of romantic fantasies. The result makes you wall-eyed - Gothic on the left, Renaissance on the right, Romanticism in the park, sort of Baroque at the front, and devil-knows-what inside... Whee, a lot of fun! *g* Due of the weather, my panorama rather isn't worthy to show, but you can read about the castle
here and see it
here. And
here is a nice video.
This handsome lady is a dragonfly, most probably a Ruddy Darter (Sympetrum sanguineum), in Eastern Poland.
Would you like a wallpaper? This is the cornice of the southern façade of the Łańcut Castle, in the South-Eastern Poland. You can see it
here.

And another set of stock photos, the same licence & conditions. In case if you're wondering, yes, it really is a graveyard wall. Silesia, Poland.
