Gah!
That is all I have to say; gah. Yes, I am an intelligent conversationalist thank you very much!
Well, um, on Friday I sat at my computer writing a chapter and a half - over twenty fucking pages right - of my newest story. A story which I actually like and am quite fond of and suddenly - the computer crashes. I didn't really think anything of it as I had saved the story to a floppy disk not long beforehand and had only written about seven more paragraphs and most of that was dialogue. Not really anything to worry about, right?
Yet somehow, the gods above decided to be oh so cruel to little old me and the floppy didn't work. At all. I nearly cried. No in fact, I didn't. I screamed and shouted, I was genuinely that frustrated. I also kicked the computer a few times for good measure. Because I being a wholly unstable person tend to do these kinds of things.
So now, instead of being halfway through chapter six I have not even started chapter five. I am absolutely horrified and if I was of that disposition would have slipped into depression already.
As it was I had something to look forward too - my best friend Dannie and I decided it was time for a girly night in. Well, it never is that girly with the two of us. I bought Final Destination 1 & 2 along with Eurotrip over to her house and we wandered down to the videoshop to rent out Saw, as I was determined to make her squirm. Alas! We ended up being roped into babysitting for Kelly and Brendan and the two of us - along with Saul -spent hours sitting in the house. It wasn't that bad though, Saul stayed until Eurotrip was over and, for anyone who hasn't seen it and has never experienced the pleasure of watching Saul and Dannie watch open mouthed I must say, it was quite great. I was overwhelmed by how pleased I was. I nearly laughed myself silly when it came to the scene were the four friends are in Amsterdam and Cooper is in Club Vandersex. Saul's expression alone nearly pushed me over the edge. I managed to survive - barely, however - by stuffing my fist into my large mouth. Possibly you could tell I tend to talk to much - in real life and when I ramble in my writings. Much like I'm doing now.
Anyway, Kelly and Brendan arrived home at around two in the morning, Dannie and I trudged up to her house and, although we felt close to collapse, like the brave warriors we are we rounded up the sweets and Kick and disappeared upstairs were we promptly fell into bed to watch Saw. What fun that was - she clutched me so tight I'm pretty sure I'm going to scar. The thing is - it's not even that SCARY! It's more psychological and intelligent than anything! Still, I didn't say this to Dannie at the time. The DVD player did not get turned off to after five and I did not fall asleep properly until way after seven and was woken at ten by my own blasted, traitorous thoughts. The things persist in wakening me even though I warn them not too! The consequences can be quite fierce awakening an Irish student before she deserves to be wakened, I tell you now! Heed my warning!
*coughs*
Not crazy, at all.
I got home and the first thing I did was start writing again. How dreadful. So I went into school today dizzy from the outset and with a banging headache. Gosh, I do hate Monday's. I would say my awful health today was due to Saturday night/ Sunday morning. I would but that's not the case. I have simply been ill lately and get headaches and dizziness for no reason. Aw well, I, at least, managed to figure out some new names for characters in my fanfic. I do love the Astronomy chart outside my Science classroom!
