going to see the big trees in a handful of hours, however long it takes to sleep. redwoods. imagine... trees, the size of your house. the house you are sitting in. trees that were here before you and will be here after you. i have no idea what im going to feel but ive been told that my entire perspective on life will change...

my friend and landlord brian, is buying a resturant. i get to be a part of this. it's puddy.... my other brian friend who i left indiana with says this is "it" for me. this is where my career begins. im sceptical yet i cant wait to check the place out this friday. there are a lot of things i didnt imagine as part of a resturant i would call my career but well see how it works out.

half of me is loving this and the other half of me is hating it.
i know in my heart that i have to break this anxiety and be a strong woman, do what i came here to do no matter whats going on around me. i cant believe the genuine hospitality the people here that i have met just puke out all over you. its so unreal i almost forget to appreciate it.

another thing thats happening. on the 6th we (the house mates brian, brain, and occasionally michelle) are helping construct these huge sails with perjection screens and virtual trippy arcade like rooms. its hard to describe but the part we are building is the center peice for the boardwalk that is going to be built on a man made indoor beach thats 250,000 sq ft in a ware house in oakland. so we are building this installation in one week, for one night of partying. 3 stages with bands and water and sand inside of a huge ware house with all kinda cool shit to do and plenty of people trippin out getting high legally and kicking off the start of the burning man vibes. there will be tickets sold and the money made from the tickets goes to paying for us building the project. that means we are just building it to build it and have a one night party. then we take it down the day after the party. that fucking rocks.

an asian man from the healthfood store is into me. so is the brian i came out here with.

i love durian. omg i cant believe how delicious durian is. if you ever get the opportunity to try it dont say no unless you are one of the unlucky people who happen to be terribly turned off by the smell of durian. MmmmmmMMmmmmm MMmmmmm. it is by far the most sexy fruit in the entire world. we made coconut durian ice cream with cacao syrup and had multiple mouth orgasms hahahah.

so there is a plum tree in the backyard. the plums are almost over but they are the juiciest things ever. omg i wish i could ship them to everyone at home. omg omg omg. free fruit. we also i have lemon trees and grape vines and every differnt colour rose bush you can think of. about 14 different kinds. and i love nopal cactus. it is cooked but i that is the point it doesnt matter it is soo good and being immersed in the mexican culture here in the ghetto of the bay area has been a real cultural experience. housing illegal mexicans and getting massive ammounts of respect and gratitude. amazing. wish you were here.
