Curse you Alessar =) If I go to a game shop any time soon and they have it, I will now have to pick it up. At $40, how can I pass that up!?!

There's a certain adapter made by Pelican, I think it was intended for Guitar Hero 1 or 2 before there was a PS3 version of that game. This adapter has a PS button and it worked on my ignition 2 pad. Thanks! Excellent information! I'm not sure which model my Ignition pad is, but I'm going to say "an old one". It's the second one I bought after the first one got unreasonably flaky, and it was only a wee bit flaky the last time I used it. But I'm very glad to hear it worked so well putting the flimsy one on top of it. That may be my new solution, too.
