I've been meaning to post this for a while, better late than never (unless you are going to the airport and then you'd better be early

Finally managing to post over here (now I better remember to sign it too!)... Hope the early intervention folks can help put your mind at ease. Emmy didn't walk till 15.5 months (waaay later than her playmates) but she's always been able to talk your ear off. We figured we'd have to carry her across the stage at graduation, but heck, at least she'd (hopefully!) do well academically! - kim (diapers, budgets & paints)
You know, LN started walking at 13 months - and I remember being all freaked out that she was slow... and then I found out (after all the panic) that the average age is around 15 months for walking (I forget who told me this - maybe our pediatrician...?). For some reason, however, people I met in RL or online had kids who were walking by 10 or 11 months! No wonder I was freaked out. Anyway... not that it sounds like you are freaking out the way I was (:-D), thought I'd add my little story there. OH. And i was also told that when they're too busy with cognitive development, they sometimes forget about their physical development... so Jasmine's probably too busy getting smart to worry about walking. -Mama Nabi
I'm jealous, I didn't know about my HS reunion til a week beforehand, because the organizers didn't make any attempt to contact anyone who wasn't a paid member of Classmates.com. :( Cocktail casual = nice top w/pants or skirts, usually.
i know of a couple of kids that didn't start walking till after 13 months and it was because of low muscle tone. maybe that goes hand in hand w/ jasmine being allergic to milk and stuff too. i don't know, im just trying to sound smart. haha. at least she's talking!! carter doesn't talk yet and doesn't have any words. lol. he has his own language. we have totally ended bottles now. since carter has his top 2 teeth and is about to get 2 more up there, i don't want him to have tooth decay. omg 73 cards! that's a lot of money in stamps.
I don't think the walking has anything to do with the allergies, but more because she was breech for so long. I think in every ultrasound we had done she is pictured breech and when she was born her feet were by her ears. I think Jasmine has about 10 words altogether now, but she still has her own baby language. I think I'm going to kind of miss it :| I think Jasmine has about 14 or 16 teeth now. I figure if she does get some decay at least they are her baby teeth and they should fall out any way. (Although my husband is a freak and had three sets of teeth!) Yeah, our cards get later and later every year. I think they were mailed Dec. 28th this time. And I'm sure next year won't be any better, and I was looking at some of the names and while we know all of the people some of them we just don't hear from, so they need to be cut. :(
oh i see. wow she's got tons of teeth! carter is behind in the teeth dept. yea they are just baby teeth and they're going to fall out so whatever. i had perfect baby teeth but my permanent teeth are totally jacked.
I usually don't volunteer information or lie to A-chan and B-chan's ped. I know my children, what works for us. I don't need someone giving me their opinion about what we should and should not do. They are not life and death situations.
Wow, $80 to go to your HS reunion? Someone would have to pay me to go to mine, not the other way around.
