It may be that everyone else has already heard of Annie (I can never keep track of what is obscure and what is super-popular) but anyway, she's a Norwegian bubblegum synthpop singer and she is awesome. Check it out, if you're not familiar.

I know what you're thinking. "Right now, what I really need more than anything else in the world is some sleazy synth-pop about a transvestite, preferably with excessive amounts of autotune."
