I have my tickets for Rhythm and Vines. I should be able to make it to the Big Day Out as well. This New Years is going to be awesome, notwithstanding the whole dad-getting-sharp-things-prodded-into-his-chest bit which is really much less fun to think about ( Read more... )

As well as a number of other acts that'll probably be rather good to see.

EDIT: Awwwww, and Cut Copy are playing, but only in Australia! WHYYYYYYY!?

Yeah, so I can't go. The flights for my parents are all booked. And Dad was at pains to point out that my mother "wouldn't be impressed". ;)

This is annoying, since I've become quite the fan of both Late of the Pier and Digitalism since the line-up announcement.

Fingers crossed for a good Big Day Out lineup.

Sanctuary went swimmingly. Best turnout for a long, long while. My sets seemed to go down pretty well, particularly the latter one which was probably a bit more danceable.
