Oh yeah, forgot to post.
Things are going pretty well. Since we've moved in we've found a few things that we want to do around the yard and stuff. I think we've accomplished most of the list. The other day we had a yard work day. Jordan cleaned out the shed, because it was full of dead spiders.. and huge, live ones. Eep! And it was just dirty. Then he sprayed Spiderban in there a few times, and that should get rid of the spider from now on. Then he borrowed the neighbour's lawn mower, because our landlord hasn't got one for us, yet. He mowed, and I was going to rake after him. (No bag on it) But the rake the landlord has out back is awful and wouldn't do anything. And actually it doesn't look too bad no raked because a lot of the grass wasn't that long. Just the parts where the old tenants were too lazy to mow were long. I went through the side garden that we have and dug out all the weeds that were in there and tilled the dirt a bit. Then I planted three rows of peas and two rows of radishes. I want to get carrots, too. I have no idea what I'm doing, but let's see if anything grows! Jack was most excellent, and sat on the cement by the big shed (that isn't ours to use) and watched us work. He seemed pretty entertained by the lawn mower.
Hermione isn't doing too bad. She spends most of her time outside, which is great because that means I don't have to do a litter box! She's had a couple times where she's hissed at Jordan, but nothing major yet. Mostly she's civil with him. I have him on food duty because I read that's one way to get her to like him better lol. She's getting better though, it's been a few days since an incident. She's in right now, though. She only comes in for a little while, after Jack goes to bed. He's too loud for her, so she doesn't come in otherwise :P
We got a new kitchen table today. I don't know how we fit it in our tiny car, but we did. It was the display model so we got it cheaper.. only to find out one of the legs has a crack in it. Hopefully it'll glue up ok. We can't take it back because it was "as is". It's be fine, though. It still holds fine, it's just a little wobbly. And hopefully gluing will help.
My grad is on the 17th. I wish it was sooner. We really need the money. I think tomorrow I'm going to go out and try and get some sort of part time job just to make a few bucks here and there. Not sure I'll find something that can work around MY schedule, though :P
Oh yes, and Jordan broke his toe. :S So he's missing work because he can't really walk on it much. That's no good. We can't afford for him to be missing more work.. I really need a part time job.
