All moved in!
We just got internet in our new place a few hours ago. I didn't even notice we didn't have it because of all the unpacking and organizing we've been doing. Everything's pretty much done except for the DVD's (which we can't put on our DVD shelves because of space issues.. so we're going to get the books that hold DVD's) and hanging photos and stuff.
Jack seems to enjoy it here. Not only that, but he slept about 13.5 hours last night! Usually he sleeps 9pm-7am. Lately, anyways. And last night he slept 8pm-9:15am. He fell asleep in Walmart and I had to actually wake him up in the morning. Either he's just really sleepy, or he likes it better here. It's noisier here, maybe he likes the background noise. Not to mention we control the heat here so his room was a touch warm, where as his old room was freezing.
It's been raining the last couple of days, so we haven't taken him outside too much yet. A little bit yesterday to go on the slide and run around. Just because it was sunny briefly. I still need to figure out how to get bird poop off of the slide. I couldn't get it off so I just let him slide down it and then changed his pants lol.
We need to get a new, little kitchen table. The other one was just falling part and would have been too big for this place. But it's bugging me to not sit at a table and eat :P Hopefully soon.
We got my kitty, Hermione, back yesterday too! My mom brought her when she brought Jack back. Hermione took a while to be ok with everything. She was pretty cranky. Especially since the landlords and her handy man were still fixing things and being noisy. She seemed find later, though. But she was not impressed when I put her outside for the night haha. I'm not doing a litter box if I don't have to, so she's an indoor/outdoor cat :) This morning it stopped raining for a bit, so she ventured out a little big and discovered the hole that goes under the deck. She likes that. I called her a little while ago and she poked her head up from under then deck and meowed. She'll like it here, methinks.
