Lost!
A few notes I jutted down while watching...
1. So... a minute in and I was already squealing in excitement "OMG they’re going to find the plane!"
When I saw it, the first thing I thought was that it was only the middle section!
I was then in awe in front of the writers' brilliancy, because that would mean that they didn’t need to fake a wreckage, as I thought they had done… they HAD one!
This restored my faith that the writers really know where they are going… they had thought about the three sections of the plane since the beginning!
And then, everything crashed down when I saw the cabin and the fake pilot. Therefore, it's a conspiration, as the conversation between Naomi and Abbadon showed. Oh well, it's interesting anyway. ;)
I now wonder how long after the crash they "found" the wreckage...
2. Locke saying that he got orders from Walt. Dude! You're such a loon!
3. I like that we got to see a lot of off-island scene. Finally! It's nice to know, for example, that everything is real (yeah I know they said it countless times. Still, it's nice to see it confirmed).
4. Gas masks WTF?? Were they planning to gas the whole island, just like Ben did?
5. So, being without the kidney was what saved Locke? A bit unlikely, methinks. Still, it's again "everything happens for a reason", and I love continuity!
6. Ah, we have ghostbusters now?
With all the supernatural things that were happening, they are bound to call the Winchesters, sooner or later. ;)
7. Naomi you sly woman! That was a code... clever.
8. Sawyer acting like a "big brother" for Karl? Aww. And then, I loved how Sawyer searched for Hurley's face and took his advice. BFF, again!
I didn't really like that Sawyer was so ready to kill again. Even if Ben deserved it. Thankfully he stopped.
9. Jack's wink. LOL. So. awkward. Fuckin' adorable! and then, Sayid and Juliet to the rescue, yay! I wonder... is Jack psychic now? He noticed! ;)
His even more awkward explanation to Kate was even better.
And, of course, he was HOT. I like Foxy with this slightly longer hair so much!
I liked the Sayid/Juliet because, assuming Juliet is going to be paired with Jack (*sighs*), that leaves Kate with Sayid, which is a pairing I found interesting back in S1 and, also, in some episodes of S3. :)
10. OMG Polar bear??? Why do they want Ben?
Yay for mindfuck! This made me resume the old time-travel theory!
11. Oh, so this time Locke wants to clean his own mess? I don't believe it. He only want to kidnap Ben and make him his sex slave ask him about Jacob. Just sayin'.
(and he asked about the monster? wot?)
12. Ben is such a bastard, evil mindfucker! I love him so!
Overall, I enjoyed this very much. It was a sort of "filler" episode but Lost has so many gaps that I always like when they fill up some!
