I finished it yesterday.
I'm impressed. Kudos to mr. Laurie. It was a good spy-story, written in a very original way. 1st person, humour, unusual language and metaphors - I even had to look up a few words in the dictionary.
The leading character was interesting and lovable, and it reminded me of House in a odd but not unpleasant way. I liked it, and I'm going to buy the next one (The paper soldier) as soon as it's available in paperback.
