Hope your christmas and new year's went well! Any resolutions planned out?

Christmas eve:
Shannon, (my roomate) asked if we could open presents on christmas eve, so i agreed to this. As soon as her boyfriend, Brian stopped by to open presents with us also as well. Before we get to the presents, Brian saw a lost dog wandering around the apartment campus. It's an golden retvier(SP?) and so sweet dog! Sadly, this dog doesn't have a tag but does have a collar. We walked around the apartment buildings trying to find where the dog's home was. We walked around for like an hour. So we called the apartment maintenance, and that jerk said, "sorry, we can't do anything since it's christmas eve." It made me so mad! I hate seeing a lost animal wandering on christmas eve! It just breaks my heart!! So, we had to let the dog go. :(
As soon as we get back to the apartment, we drank egg nog with rum, they are just yummy!! We opened our presents, got lots of things from the stockings! Lastly, Brian had a big box for Shannon and she opened, there were another box, after 5 boxes, she got a small box and she opened the box and saw the ring. Yep, she got engaged on Christmas Eve. It was nice and an honor to be there to be able to witness that special propose!

Christmas morning:
We all got up and went to one of our friends' church. He's a pastor for the Deaf. It was nice, not many people were there, probably 20 people.

Christmas afternoon:
after coming home from church, I had to go to my dad's house for christmas lunch. It was ok-ok since my step-mother family were there and it's uncomfortable for me and my sister. After everyone left, I stayed there longer since I don't want to drive all the way back to my apartment then come back, it takes lots of time and of course, everyone's on the road. So, I took a LONG nap!

Christmas evening:
Went to my grandmother's house, (my dad's mother), everyone were there execpt my cousin Steve. He's probably at his fiancee's family's house. It was nice. I made a dessert the night before, Chocolate Crunch Brownies. OH MY GOD! It's sooooooooooo goood! So chocolatey and rich, very good!!! Played christmas games with the family. It was nice!

I got a week off from work, and it's worth it! I got time to clean my apartment and catch up with my tasks. Of course, had lots of rest!!! Nice break for me!

New Year Eve: Went to my sister's house, as soon as we got ready, we went over to her friend, Kelly's house for the party. It was nice, not many people there, probably just 15 people. Met some people, they are awesome people! Played games, charades, poker, scene it!, and more. Didn't get home till 4:30am in the morning. I was so tired on that day since I got up very early in the morning. UGH!

New Year Day: Left my sister's house in the morning since I have a cat to take care of! Took a VERY long nap!! Went to my grandmother's house again. It was ok-ok as usual!

Glad that I got what I wanted for christmas... lovely presents and money! :)

Oh yeah, before I forget, I remember the last entry I wrote about a guy from college that was going to come to visit me. It was nice to see him again, but it wasn't the same. Everything changed, maybe, we grew up and have different lives. I don't know, it's just so different. But at the same time, it was nice to see him and catch up with the lives we have now.

Well, I am out!
