From a religous and moral standpoint: is it ok to paint or draw nude models if you are married?

If your spouse doesn't agree?

I want all of you guys to please answer if you can.

i'd say definitely yes. i don't understand why your spouse wouldn't agree. there is pretty much nothing sexy about it-- in my experience, it's almost always an old person with no lack of body confidence surrounded by 15 other people also drawing. the lighting is meant to show every nuance of form, and the drawers or painters in question are focussed on that form, not on the fact that it's a naked body. that's what it's like in a class setting anyway.

however, if the situation is that it is just you and the model, and the model is an attractive and single ex-boyfriend or something, and the setting is your bed, then maybe your spouse would be concerned? otherwise, what's the problem?

^^ I agree with robin.

BUT then again in the fourth summer of the sisterhood of the traveling pants, lena models nude with this guy alone and then end up having sex.

BUT i don't think that is the case for everything :p

I don't think drawing/painting nude models is sexual in anyway unless that the aforementioned circumstances are happening. In which case that's duh, and I know you know that.
