someone say cocktail party?
It's finally Friday and finally the Florida-Georgia weekend... I have been waiting for this for the last 365 days!! I will be starting my day off early tomorrow and heading downtown by 730am to make sure I get parking. I will be meeting up with a large group of friends, extended family and others for the city's Largest Cocktail party of the year. I am a Florida Gator Fan and my boyfriend is a Georgia Bulldog alumni (aka die hard crazy ass Georgia fan). I expect it to be a fun filled day of port-o-lets, beer, talking shit to the other fans and hopefully an EXCITING game!
I have been a football fan since I was little. Indianapolis Colts fan from the day I was born! Then after moving to Florida I watched it less and started playing it more. Now that I am all grown up I prefer college games and honestly usually only go to one game per year. (this one!) So it is with great anticipation that I write this, anxiety and excitement wrapped in a very happy woman.
On a little less of an "I'm a beer loving football fan" note, I reconnected with an old friend from when I was 14. Actually an ex boyfriend that I have been in and out of contact with since 8th grade. His name is Doug and he lives in Orlando now. He came up for a few days and we got to hang out and catch up. It was nice seeing him as an adult, he is much taller and his voice is a lot deeper than the 14 year old voice I remember. lol.
