III - Bluewater Village (P.3)

So far I've enjoyed living in Bluewater.

It certainly has benefits for a family, and I can live with the fancy stores, even though it's not much thing, and there isn't much else to do. I have my kids, a job, and new friends. That's what matters most.

But unfortunately everything has it's pros and cons, and the closer I get to some people here, the more 'cons' are added to the balance.

First is the Larson twins.

They have become my closest friends here.

The rest of the neighbors are all polite and welcoming, but they are too involved in their family business. It often feels like I have nothing to talked about, nothing in common, with most of them.

The Larson instead, are fun, enthusiastic, and very entertaining.

They remind me that, despite of having two children I'm still young,

and I don't love them any less for giving myself a night out from time to time.

And I really enjoy their company, but as our relationship gets closer, things get a bit awkward and complicated at times.

Or at least for me. I'm not sure if they see the problem, or, at the most, they joke about being used to share everything. I laugh back and disregard some of their most outrageous comment and approaches as just that, jokes, but true is -- it makes me feel rather conflicted.

Jason is charming and full of energy; Jodie is spirited and witty. I love them both as friends, their boldness is undoubtedly enticing, and they are both very attractive, but I wouldn't like to move my relationship with either of them beyond friends.

They invigorate as much overwhelm me, and I worry I won't be able to keep our relationship between the limits that are comfortable to me, without hurting our friendship and their feelings.

And then, there's Malcolm Landgraab.

According to the Larson, he owns several of the local stores, making him one of the most influential person in the Village, and they seemed thrilled when he invited us all to a lunch at his house.

The guys told me he likes inviting the whole neighborhood to those lunch events every so often "to keep neighbors close and relationships high".

Malcolm's a great host, though, and his house is big and luxurious. It has a bar, and a juice bar, a buffet, dart and chess boards, and a hot-tub in the yard.

And it was nice to be with my neighbors in more a relaxed setting to get to know them a bit better too...

but things started heating up as the afternoon went by.

Don't know if it was the drinks going into everyone's heads, or it's their way to keep the neighbors close, but it became really uncomfortable when Gilbert and Malcolm started almost taking turns to hit on Florence Delarosa,

and even Jason decided to join them for a moment. I'm not sure if he was just trying to bug her or what, but everyone else seemed quite amused by the situation.

I couldn't understand what was going on and was very mad at Jason too, but I guess the alcohol made me more sensitive than I should have been, so when Malcolm approached me again and guided me away from the crowd, I didn't hesitate to follow.

Part of me was even thankful he had done it right in front of Jason...

What I didn't know then, however, was that Malcolm and Florence have been on a on-and-off relationship for a very long time, and all this flirting with others was only to make each other jealous...

But at that moment I wasn't thinking straight, or better said, I was barely thinking at all, and when he showed me his indoor pool and hottub, the soothing warm water was so tempting, he didn't have to ask me twice to join.

Malcolm can be really obnoxious sometimes, but he's also surprisingly interesting.

No only he's strangely attractive, with his tanned skin, light hair and gray eyes, but the Landgraab are an old money family, so he grew up learning with tutors, and traveling with his parents. He's literate, cultured, and full of stories and fascinating topics to talk about.

But unfortunately I think the sum of it all, made me more susceptible, and ended up falling even easier and faster than ever before.

And worse too...

No matter the consequences or whatever it was wise or not, o never regretted being with Jon or Lazlo,

but Malcolm...

Malcolm barely waited until I was gone....

to take Florence to his room, and, for what the Larsons told me, wasn't seen again until much later, when he walked down, barely dressed, to dismiss a few last guests.

I woke up feeling quite nauseous the next morning.

Wish I could say it was only the hangover...

There's one more (small) update to wrap up this hood, but my personal conclusion of Bluewater is...

The neighbors are all serious business during the day, but ALL SORT OF KINKS at nights!!

The Larson show some incestuous undertones (to say it soft lol) , Florence/Malcolm/Gilbert have some sort of threesome going on, and the Tinker and Ramirez pretend to be all good, and but I'm sure they swing partners behind close doors!!

:O

BLOSSOM BETTER RUN FOR HER LIFE!!! XD

Joking aside, I was tempted with Jason as father, (and honestly I'm kind of liking the Blossom/Jodie potential for pairing here too lol), but Malcolm has a lot of very distinctive genes I was hoping to add to the Moonbeam clan (like blond hair, and eye color), so decided to go with him at the end. We'll see what it turns out lol

Also, jic, I've been slowly recovering from hurting my back some days ago. Nothing serious, but kept me very unproductive both in RL and sims for a while. I'm behind with everything in the house now lol, and I'll be catching with comments and friends posts here in Lj too. :)

Cheers!!
