i just burnt 2 of the fingers on my left hand really badly so i'm trying to distract myself from the pain by updating my lj. this post has taken forever to type though *whimpers*
it seems like lately i've been spending all my weekends sleeping on n's floor. we cook in the little kitchen, smoke and drink in the living room, share warm cups of tea in the balcony while the sun sets and rises on the horizon. half a dozen people constantly stream in and out, we cram into cars and get pulled over, speed with the windows down and the music pumping loud, our blood pumping even faster in our veins. even when i'm home, i'm barely alone. i've become accustomed to sharing food and drinks and clothes and beds and i'm not complaining. i've lost count of the secrets shared and the confessions whispered, all the finger-shaped bruises on my ribs and wrists.
btw i watched easy a on friday. it was ridic awesome. i've had the biggest crush on emma stone forever, and i thought the movie was legit hilarious, intelligent and thoroughly entertaining. there's so much snark and wit in the film <333 my fave part was definitely the back-and-forth banter between emma's character and her parents [and had me declaring that i'd like to grow up and be that kind of parent with my future kids, lol]. it's set in high school and has the typical cliques and social issues, but i liked the commentary on slut shaming and viewpoints society still has wrt women and sexuality. so if you find those topics interesting, watch this flick. plus, on a shallower note, it has cute boys and girls! [although wtf is up with amanda bynes' face these days? girlfriend looks..odd].

on the fandom side of things, i keep meaning to catch up with my flist but i've rarely had access to a computer, so it just hasn't happened. hopefully sometime later this week? *crosses fingers* i managed to read a few salt_burn_porn fills on my iphone though, and unf. so goddamn good. perhaps i'll post some recs later this week, we'll see.
btw it looks like i've pissed off someone on the anon meme, baww. oh well, can't please everyone - not that i've actually been trying. at all. heh. [which is why i don't understand how my behaviour comes off as sucking up to bnfs and/or the meme itself. i'm also trying to figure out the "immature hypocrite" bit, but i suspect it has something to do with being a "self-important ass" and a "cunt"]. oh, meme.
