ava along with me even though she's not familiar with their music, heh. they're performing in november and by then their 2nd album,
cosmic egg, should be out so i'm REALLY psyched. especially since i've been listening to them non-stop for the past 2 weeks, and i randomly have no class on the night of the concert - all of which means that THE UNIVERSE REALLY WANTS ME TO ATTEND THIS SHOW
in celebration, i decided to open a new gmail account under the name cosmic egg [also b/c i've always loved the entire
cosmic/world egg theory] but turns out cosmicegg, cosmic.egg, thecosmicegg and the.cosmic.egg were ALL taken! so i ended up with a.cosmic.egg [at] gmail [dot] com. of course i tweeted about all this, and
fera_festiva and
bryoneybrynn both encouraged me to start a series of cosmic egg-related accounts like cosmic.scotch.eggs and cosmic.quiche. since i love my flist's mind-melding powers, i succumbed. [also, now at least 2 other people on my twitter are going to have eggs for breakfast, lol].
i didn't make those particular accounts, but i DID make cosmicomelette [at] gmail [dot] com, rofl. i have such a random selection of email accounts:
gmail: moonal, moonalstorage, radioactivepoop, colourmania, urbanhymn, a.cosmic.egg, cosmicomelette => i have different themes for each account b/c i am a nerd of epic proportions
hotmail: spieswithparachutes
yahoo: carbonpapers
ROFL. so strange. but hey! there's a story behind each account name

here's a link to my latest edition of the
quibbler_report.
i started reading the lost symbol last night and so far it's alright. during my freshman year in uni, i spent a good chunk of time researching freemasons and masonic traditions, [and reading from hell, hee] so i'm familiar with a lot of the things brown has mentioned up to this point, but there's also quite a bit that's new. the book is still following the typical dan brown formula but at least i'm not irritated by anything [yet]. speaking of being formulaic,
slate.com has a
dan brown plot generator which is pretty damn accurate lolol. thanks to

i've submitted a fair number of prompts on
