Second Drabble
Title: “Wild Man”

Summary: Why Bill Guarnere became “Wild Bill.”
While training under Sobel, he thought he knew what hate was, what anger was.
He was wrong. What he felt then was pallid compared to this, the white-hot rage welling up within him now, played out against a black background of total hatred. His brother. Dead. In a place he’s never even heard of. On the flight over, Malarkey looks over at him, sees the look in his eyes, and glances away quickly. Guarnere fingers his rosary, asking God not for protection, but that he find and engage the enemy as soon as possible.
By the time he’s done, there won’t be a goddamn German left alive.
