Camp CAEN - The LAN Begins
Well I've arrived at Camp CAEN. No one but the staff and a few of the CITs is here yet. We're mostly just hanging out. Not much is going on. I got moved into the dorm room that will be mine for the summer. Its nice to have a dorm room again. I've got a full double to myself... meaning I have a room the size of your typical Skidmore single. Still, it's nice.
I managed to forget some fairly important stuff: namely my tower. Everything I need for it is here, but the tower is still back on my desk at home. My mom can bring it to me when she picks up my brother at the end of two weeks, but its still annoying that I have to go with out it for two weeks. It has all my games and code on it. On the bright side it provides inspiration to launch an assault on my poor dying laptop and see if I can't save it. I'm going to try and dual boot it Ubuntu and Mac Os X and see if I can't get it to run Eclipse and some other stuff.
It's a little weird coming back. I am and I'm not part of the CAEN group. I've been here three times and know most of the staff I'm working with by name. But becuase I never came for two consecutive years, I don't really know them that well, and a lot of them all know each other pretty well.
