Burning sensation
Well shite. I guess its just about that time of year to really start to get excited about the burning of the man. The tattoos are finished, we're going to Boston next week for Matt's brother's graduation, and the next big trip will be our yearly pilgrimage to Black Rock City.
At work we got on the topic of Burning Man and I gladly showed my old photos to my new coworkers and tried to eloquently explain what the event is, which is hard to do after a long day at work. But I think the photos show more about BRC than any explanation I could offer. I don't think they really get it, but that's ok :)
Also, on the way home I stopped by and bought a cooler that I'd found on craiglist. Its a large 56 gallon coleman with wheels. So I gave the woman her $10 and wheeled the cooler the 1.5 miles home. This thing will be nice for carting ice back to camp from camp arctica!! On the way home, through the panhandle, I ran into my sweaty cute boyfriend who was just starting out his jog. He's even yummy when he's in his gym clothes!! I love it.
So today is my friday and I'm looking forward to much sleeping in tomorrow. But in the meantime we have Cerr's tattoo artist's son here while she babysits him for a few days. Its fucking hilarious to see Leo interact with a hyperactive 8 year old! And this ain't no normal 8 year old. He's got both his ears pierced, some crazy limp mohawk hairdo, and a god damn diamond "bling" stuck on one of his front teeth! Godbless the youth of today.
