things that go boom in the afternoon
A few minutes after I came home from work, as I was rifling through the mail on the floor there was a very loud earth rumbling noise. It could have been from the construction going on a few houses down. But whatever it was it managed to freak both the cats out and they tore down the hall jumping/tripping over each other on the way to our room to hide under the bed. This was over 2 hours ago and they are both sitting in the door way, peering down the hall at the front door afraid to leave the security of the bedroom. They wouldn't even come out for food, so I put their dinner in my room, and even then they barely ate any of it. I wonder what they thought it was. . .? Or should i take this as a sign that an earthquake is coming or something else catastrophic (some pun intended)?
In other news, work was terribly painful with the new swelling piece of art under my arm, but everyone who saw it was blown away :) I <3 Holly Ellis!!
