I don't know how many people in the upstate South Carolina area caught this . . .

Immediately after Bill O'Reilly's "Corruption of the American Child" program, the local Fox news affiliate decided to cash in on the trend by following the program with their own expose. Their target: violent video games that cause children to grow big devil horns of evil.

The decision was difficult at best. What video game was the most violent, most despicable, most corrupting to our children?

The answer, according to Fox News, is "Lunar: Silver Star Story"

I shit you not.

The report included numerous screen shots, as well as a young kid's semi-passive reactions while playing the game.

Memorable moments included lengthy focus on that tiny flying pink critter, which was obviously a hallucination promoting illegal drug use. We were told that the game is based heavily on fighting and robbing. The game teaches kids to use guns and swords.

The kid in the interview, to this accusation, made the not-at-all-obvious statement that playing the game does not mean he's going bring a sword to school.

I missed most of the story after this due to laughing my ass off.
