I am so happy to have finished this one though because it'd been eating away at me and then The Softer Side happened and it helped me fill in some stuff and just pull it all together. It was a complete blast to do though, I had fun the entire time and this song was fantastic to work with because tonally, it allowed me to touch on both the ~prank~ side and the serious side of their very complex relationship. It's a brilliant song. And I never got sick of it, either. I feel like I got to look at every part of who these characters are together, and that is so much fun for me to do. I love the feeling of this one.

A House/Cuddy video that looks at how their relationship is affected as a result of Cuddy fostering a baby. She's torn in two different directions as she tries to balance her home life with her job, House not making it any easier for her. She retaliates, but deep down she's praying he won't leave or give up on her. Because she knows she needs him. He needs her too. Set to Please Don't Leave Me, by Pink, with a focus on The Greater Good & Big Baby, and most of the second half of this season.
Notes & Commentary
I actually don't feel I have a lot of specific commentary to give on this one. I feel like it's pretty self-explanatory in most parts. I'll mention a few bits, but other than that I think it's pretty clear-cut. :) As always, I paid extreme attention to timing, so just watch for that (tiny eye movements, the pace at which they walk, etc), and otherwise just enjoy the story. If you have any questions or comments about anything specific, or are wondering about my thoughts on something, please do ask - I'll totally address everything, I just can't really think of anything extra to say when I'm watching this back just now that the video itself doesn't say in the first place.
1:57 - this is one of the most fun times I've ever had, doing this part. I mindfucked even myself with this, lol, playing it back for the first time. I love how it turned out.
2:24 - ♥
3:31 - I. love. cane symbolism. So I really wanted to play with that and use that to explain how the two of them are linked.
3:34 - big thanks to iwant_sprinkles for helping me remember which episode this was. I saw it in my head but could not for the life of me find it.
3:38 - and it ends with Cuddy realizing that she was unfairly taking out her frustration on House, and realizing that it will be possible to have room for both in her life. (which I saw/felt in the moment that she gave House her baby to hold.)
I know that's not as long and ~in-depth~ as my commentaries usually are but that's all I have to say, bbs!
