This is just a different take on the whole baby arc, and isn’t the common type of soft video that you so often see representing this plotline. What this is, is the baby arc, laced with other babies’ and mothers’ stories, used to represent the conception, development, and birth of Cuddy’s idea and desire to have a child. She tries to bring House into it, but fails, as this is something he has to come to terms with on his own. And he does. He agrees to share the idea with her and try for a child together, and that’s when everything falls even MORE apart.
