It has been declared that Moving Day shall be this Sunday, in which all of the larger furniture will be moved, especially sofas (not sofa-beds), up the three hellish flights of stairs and into The Penthouse. Other details will soon follow, as we do not know exactly what time we will be starting at (likely around ten, leaving Elana's).
Things will be moved from Sarah's house and Elana's house to the apartment in St. Laurent. The couches are already out of the basement, and will just need to be put in the truck and moved into the apartment - half of that job is done for us!
Any help volunteered would certainly be appreciated, and will be paid in pizza and beer. Please let us know if you are availiable and willing to help, so Sarah knows whether or not to bribe some of her brother's friends into "volunteering". Also, so we know how much food and beer to get!
It would also be good if you could let us know where you'd like to meet us, whether it's at Elana's, Sarah's, or the apartment itself. Someone will likely be everywhere, and we are going to do our best to arrange lifts from one end of the line to the other. This will be made easier if we know who wants to help and when.

Directions to Sarah's, in Beaconsfield:
By bus: Take the 211 from Lionel-Groulx (or wherever) westbound. Start paying attention after the bus crosses St. Charles intersection (along Lakeshore) and you are on Beaconsfield Boulevard. You will pass a library and several schools. Get off of the bus in Beaurepaire village, in front of the Hub and across the street from the tennis courts. It is the corner of St. Louis and Beaconsfield Blvd. If you pass by a Jean-Coutu and wind up at Woodland, you have gone one stop too far.
Walk back in the opposite direction as the bus, and head up St. Andrews to 116. If you get lost, call Sarah's cell at 514-585-7725, or Sarah's house at 514-695-0068.
By car: Take Highway 20 to Woodland Intersection. Turn left, cross the little overpass, and turn right onto Beaurepaire (NOT back on the onramp to the 20). Follow Beaurepaire until St. Andrews, turn right. It's number 116.

By bus: Take the 206 bus from Fairview. Get off at the corner of Roger-Pilon and Manuel. It's number 131 on Roger-Pilon.

From the 40 heading west. Get off at Sources. Turn Left onto Roger Pilon. Go till the 5th stop sign which is my house. 131 Roger Pilon.
From the 40 East. Get off at St.Jeans. Turn left. Go to Roger Pilon. Turn Right and go about 5 stop signs to Manuel. 131 Roger Pilon.

Cross the street toward the Paris Depanneur (and the park) and walk up Du College until the next set of lights, which is Marcel-Laurin. Turn left. It is number 595, right on the corner. Call Sarah's Cell (514-585-7725), Elana's Cell ( 514-568-1423), or Sarah's parents' cell (514-867-8694), as the door buzzer will not work until the phone is installed. Someone will let you in!
