Now that we have almost certainly identified the core event, I will pick up Professor Lupin's
remark.
It is true we have flagged a number of students who did not comment to either entry.
In addition, Mr. Macmillan has been added to the list of suspects not only for his organisation of the party but because a few anomalies have crept into his observed behavior. We cannot ignore Miss Ivanovich either especially as she was one of those who as Professor Lupin
reminded us has experienced displacement.
Yet attendance at the party need not have been confined to that group or those on the journal.
Secondly we know that the Contesse's received her cake as a gift from a student. She may not have been the only one.
Obviously a number of those so flagged have now left the school to join their families for the holiday period: Miss Gregory, Miss Jones, Mr. Greenley, Mr. Macmillan, and Mr. Wu.
I am uncertain as to whether Mr. Graves and Mr. Finch-Fletchley had plans for Easter. Mr. Goyle and Mr. Crabbe, I understand usually spend Easter holidays here; Miss Bulstrode is living independently.

Miss Jones' restoration is something I should like to keep confidential until there is the opportunity to speak with both she and perhaps Mr. Greenley more fully.
