Poetry Slam TONIGHT!
Just wanted to remind everyone that
MASPoetry slam and open-mic
is TONIGHT
at WINNING COFFEE CO., 111 Harvard SE at 7 pm.
This month we've got a touring poet featuring: ELLIOT HARMON from San Francisco! Elliot is a fantastic poet, actor, musician and playwright who was part of the Omaha Slam Team in 2004 and has made quite a splash in the Bay Area where he qualified for the 2005 Oakland team's poetry slam off.
And a short music set by NYC solo songwriter ATHENA REICH to start the show
We've also got the monthly open-mic and poetry slam (which will get someone points toward qualifying for the ABQ Slam team Grand Slam next April). There's a limited sign-up for both tonight
