Waffles, anyone? This Philippine version of a waffle is cooked with coals above and under supported by a thin sheet of metal lined with banana leaves. It sure smells great! Among the ingredients; eggs, rice flour, salt, baking powder, salted eggs and when cooked, a sprinkling of freshly grated coconuts and brown sugar. Yummy.
