To certain websites: No, I'm NOT turning off my adblocker. I never blocked ads until around four years ago, when a rogue banner ad tried to throw malware at me. Luckily my antivirus caught it before any harm was done. Until you get that crap under control, adblocker stays ON! I just won't go to your website again. For some reason, ever since getting home after the surgery, I've had to increase the zoom on all the websites I visit in order to read them, otherwise they are a blurry MESS. :-(

The "listings" section of TV Guide 's website is kind of a "Cookie Monster". 269 FREGGIN' BROWSER COOKIES...WTF?!?

As you may recall, I shut down my website a few months ago, mainly for two reasons... one being not much time to mess with it, and the other, and more importantly, my budget being a bit "cramped" at the moment. I WAS going to go ahead and let my domain name lapse also, but with six days before it was going to expire, I renewed it for another year. ( Read more... )

I'm glad that I use Gmail as a "secondary" account, and NOT for anything important! I get LOTS of "misdirected" mail apparently meant for OTHER people, yet it's sent to MY email address.
