Since the home exercises the therapy gave me for the left arm issues is doing as good/better than the weekly therapy sessions themselves, the doctor today, since I've had improvements in the mobility of the arm, has me skipping the therapy appointments, and coming back for a check-up appointment in two months ( Read more... )

Went for respiratory/heart tests at the hospital yesterday morning. Won't be able to take a full fledged shower until tomorrow though. They have me hooked to a "Holter monitor" for that length of time. Have to return it tomorrow, same day as the pre-op testing for my next esophageal dilation procedure. Went this morning for my post-op follow up from all the esophageal dilations I've had so far. Not very good news. Even though I'm eating solid foods now (albeit slowly), the dilations will probably be something I'll have to have at LEAST once a month... FOREVER. When I went in this morning for my "pre-op testing" for the surgery next Thursday, they took more blood, three smallish vials. This time, they used my right arm.
