My husband works at yamaha corp., call the manufacture directly (not the store) and they are really good about taking care of stuff like that, even after the warrenty is up. I went ahead and got a new Denon from Best Buy. My experiences in the past dealing directly with equipment manufacturers has been less than stellar, by being without the product for nearly a month or more while they repair the unit. Bought a 4-year service plan on the new receiver, to be on the safe side.
