Busy Day
Just now sitting down for the day, at a little past 3:00pm. Last night, mom lost nearly all vision in her right eye, but figured it would eventually pass, assuming it might have been blood pressure related. It was the same this morning, so she called her eye doctor and he told her to come in. After tests/pictures, doctor determined she had a small stroke in the back of the eye, and there was nothing much which can be done about it.
He told her to see her cardiologist. She has an appointment with him which was already scheduled for January 5th, but called to see if she could get an earlier appointment. I guess because of the holidays, no earlier appointment was available. The eye doctor told her if she develops any major headaches, to go to the emergency room.
I had originally planned to do some much needed grocery shopping this morning, to try and beat the crowds, but had to postpone that chore until this afternoon, after bringing mom back home. Brookshire's was busy as f*ck! Had to park nearly all the way out to their gas station.
Bought plenty, so "hopefully" I won't have to go shopping again until AFTER the holidays.
