1986 mid September

30 years ago in my journal...

Sept. 10-15, 1986: Homework. Boredom. Homework. Party. Tired. Party. Homework.

Sept. 16, 1986: F and I had an argument about a planned party at the Sunderland house on the night I would be away at a Neil Young concert. "If my house is hosting a party, I should be there, right? I want to be there in case something goes wrong. Anyway, F disagreed that I need to be there"... "So, anyway, I decided not to go to Neil Young with her this weekend. She didn't like that."

Sept. 17, 1986: Depression.

Sept. 18, 1986: Went to Flat Street in Brattleboro, VT with F, Jackie and Joanne to see the band 'Til Tuesday.

Sept. 19, 1986: Insulated the room in the garage. Fun. Fun. Fun.

Sept. 20, 1986: The night of the party at the Sunderland house.

Sept. 22, 1986: "The party went good. Everyone had fun and nothing got broken. I put a Run-D.M.C. tape on and everyone LOVED it."... "Clemens won his 24th game today for the Red Sox. We're still in 1st place, 4 games from clinching the division title."

Sept. 23, 1986: Went to the Holyoke Mall with F, Jackie and Michelle. I didn't get anything. Bad capitalist.
