Boston Sports in 1986
From Volume 1 of my journal, 30 years ago:
"It's been a great year for Boston sports. The Celtics won their 16th World Championship this year beating the twin towers of the Houston Rockets. The Patriots made it to the Super Bowl for the 1st time this year, but they got clobbered by the Chicago Bears and Refrigerator Perry. The Red Sox are in 1st so far. I hope they can hold on, but I don't know..."
