The end, and a new beginning

Well, the world didn't "end" as some were saying the Mayans predicted for December 21, 2012...

Here's part of what Bolivian president Evo Morales (a socialist, incidentally) hopes for the world, and so do I:

“...the end of selfishness and the beginning of brotherhood    
... the end of individualism and the beginning of collectivism
... the end of an anthropocentric life and the beginning of a bio-centric life
... the end of hatred and the beginning of love
... the end of lies and beginning of truth
... the end of sadness and the beginning of happiness
... the end of division and the beginning of unity..."
