May and June 1994, part three
Journal entries from 15 years ago, crossing the U.S. by car... These are entries from the 5th day and 6th day of the journey:
Wednesday, June 1, 1994, Wyoming
Right now we're in Wyoming heading toward Yellowstone Park.
We camped overnight last night at Badlands National Park. That's a very bizarre and beautiful area.
Earlier today, we went to Mount Rushmore.
Thursday, June 2, 1994, Wyoming
We konked out in Buffalo, Wyoming... We ate dinner and decided to stay there for the night. That was a good decision because we both got good nights sleeps and the weather is nicer to go over the mountains today. Yesterday there were storm clouds over the mountains.
Today we'll see Yellowstone and Grand Tetons N.P.'s and maybe go on a bit further into Idaho. Our goal is to make it to Longview, WA by Saturday afternoon.
