Sleepover Weekend
I took Friday off as we were taking the kids for the weekend (Friday and Saturday, anyway) as Jenny and Andy went off to Stobo Castle which is a luxury spa place... I think it was Andy's b-day present.
So Friday, we went to Moat Brae with the girls, looked for crocodiles in the garden with Ayla while Linda went to storytime with Amelie, chased Tinkerbell etc... then Ayla had a birthday party to go to a bit later on. Adam was picked up after his tennis and we played the Destination Hogwarts game at home... Later on we all went to dinner at our normal place. The service was very slow, and Linda got especially riled up about it... and in the end, we got the whole thing at no charge... so that was good, in a way. But overall, not a good dinner.
Friday night they all stayed over... and we watched Disney's Peter Pan... it was quite a warm night and we couldn't get to sleep that well.
On Saturday, we went to the Dino Park... mostly stayed in the soft play area because it was raining... but it was a fun time.... then ice cream on the way back.
Sunday was more of a relaxing, chill out day for Linda and me. A lot of Peyton Place and some Coronation Street. I read the newspapers, mostly and snipped things out for my journal.
