OKAY, so, I'm not sure if I've talked about this before, but I knit. Yeah, I know, what? A seventeen year old who knits? WHAT IS THIS INSANITY. Even better? I taught myself when I was thirteen. During the summer. Because I was bored. And hey, I'm pretty good at it! I can do a lot of stuff! It's pretty awesome

lol I can't spin, I don't have that kind of patience/ability to sit down and stay still. And every time I do something knitting related I always get like ten people saying OMFG TEACH ME and I'm like "IT'S NOT THAT HARD GAIZ."

CABLLLESSSSSS are fun. I like short rows too, mostly because I just learned how to do them and the novelty hasn't worn off yet.

I have yet to attempt short rows, but the only application I've been remotely interested in is fingerless gloves, and I like my techniques for that better (either cables, which are quick and easy, or intarsia stripes with buttonholes and gusseted thumbs, which are TOTALLY BADASS although I still have to make the other one. second glove syndrome, anyone? ;_;)
