My friends page already reads like a paid endorsement for Batman Begins, and I'm afraid I can but add to the existing hype. I'm prepared to go on record as saying that it's the best movie based on a comic license, and there have been some very solid movies to date, including Burton's original vision of Gotham City and its notorious crimefighter. I went to a late showing of Episode III with a crew of almost twenty people. I'm a simple man with simple tastes: All I wanted was a Star Wars movie that didn't suck.

I caught the midnight showing with pandor, valval, ufo9, and a whole slew of people I didn't know! It was pretty cool, though; lots of excitement in the crowd which almost always makes for more enjoyable movie-watching. (Except that lady to the side who laughed at EVERYTHING, even total silence.
