Top 5 Things I Dislike Right Now (AKA the Bottom 5):
5) My translation homework that I'm supposed to be doing. Seriously. How am I supposed to know the Spanish translation for "Knows his ass from his elbow"???
4) Mosquito bites. They are all over my legs and feet. And they ITCH!!!
3) My RI professor. It's an 8:30AM class, man. If you aren't going to show up, let us know! I like my beauty sleep!
2) Spanish lit. WHOA on the reading, dude. This is probably as much or more reading than I will have to do for my capstone in the fall!
1) US Daylight Savings Time. Michigan is now two hours ahead of me for the next three-ish weeks. Couldn't they have waited to be all energy-saving until next year, when it wouldn't affect me? ;-)
Top 5 Things I Really Like Right Now:
5) The Fratellis. I just got "Chelsea Dagger" from my sister, and it's freakin' AWESOME. My affinity for British indie bands aside, it's a sweet song and you should check it out.
4) Target. Man, I wiiiiish there was a Target in Puebla. Or in Mexico (are there Targets in Mexico?) in general... they have a whole bunch of new vintage rock-n-roll tees and I WANT THEM ALL! We're talking an Abbey Road shirt, two Bon Jovi tees, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Cars, David Bowie, Pink Floyd/Dark Side of the Moon... they're only missing Queen and Led Zeppelin to make me very happy. Only I can't get any of them since I'm here. This could go on either list, since I want the shirts but can't get them. Oh I can't wait for my bonus gift card at the end of the semester...
3) Chocolates. Even though I think I ate too many, chocolate always makes me happy. I had Bailey's filled chocolates this week... and they were veeeeeerrrrrryyyyy good.
2) Pictures. And tagging pictures on Facebook. I think Paloma is probably annoyed with me for tagging tons and tons of pictures from her albums of this weekend... but it was fun! I like taking pictures too, but I always manage to leave my camera behind when really sweet/funny things happen.
1) Air banding. There is a Scrubs episode with this theme that I saw... and oh, was it funny. I generally like to listen to, sing along and groove to my music (specifically those on my "Crank it Up!" playlist...) but there is just so much satisfaction to be derived from air banding. Even though I suck at it and everyone thinks I'm nuts. That is OK. If they can't accept me and my crazy air banding every once in awhile, then maybe they aren't really my friends... :-)
